Swin Solutions provides computer-networking services, primarily to small businesses and homes. For all the computers in a site, Swin Solutions will establish the internet, and provide equal access for everyone in the site to all their resources, such as printers and important files. We can install many forms of security for the network, to prevent hackers and viruses from damaging data. For concerned parents and supervisors, we can prevent people from going to inappropriate websites

There are a few ways to establish a network, but there are only 2 networking categories: wired and wireless. Wiring is the traditional way of connecting computers and still the most used, but a new approach to wired networking has emerged: using existing in-house telephone lines. If a house has multiple phone jacks sharing the same phone number, then a site already has the wiring it needs for a 10 megabit per second network. 10 Megabits is a very fast network, faster than what a cable modem or a DSL account could provide anyway, and with this solution, you can have a network and not disturb the traditional phone service. However, a site can achieve 100 megabits per second within its site by having additional wiring installed, known as Category 5 (Cat 5) Ethernet cable. This is the type of cabling most businesses use, and would give people the fastest internal network, or intranet. Note that a faster intranet will not make a cable-modem or DSL work any faster. Installing additional wiring would only be necessary on very large networks or for places with inadequate existing wiring.

Wireless networking is latest breakthrough. After years of testing and research, wireless is now a fast, viable solution. If a site cannot install additional wiring, or does not want it, then Swin Solutions can install transceivers, antennas, and wireless network cards, and create a 10-11 megabit per second network.

All of these scenarios are far better (think horse versus car) than the annoying process of dialing up to an Internet provider, and tying up your phone line
